Delete undoes internal errors or modifications. Think of it as the ctrl + z of Smokeball Billing. Reverse is for external mistakes and leaves a paper trail. 💡 Beware the blue text. Credit Note Refunds
We have a client who has a credit note on their account. The matter is now closed so we physically need to pay the credit note to the client. How is this done in smokeball? I can only find how to apply against invoices.
Since transitioning to Smokeball, our firm has utilized Law Pay as a payment platform. This integration tool, however, is not very intuitive as far as applying the payments we receive through the platform to our clients’ payment portal. I find that I have to manually apply the payment to their client payment portal. This often creates a little bit of confusion as there is not a way to streamline the process of receiving payment, to the remittance of funds to our firm account. Does smokeball have a way to automatically apply payments received through Law Pay to balances due? If not, is there a way to work around this?
Good morning, Our firm is in the metro Atlanta area and we are looking for any trainers or training company’s to integrate Smokeball with our Quickbooks program. Looking for any referrals, especially if you have used a company to assist with this. Thank you!
Hello! I reviewed the online tutorials and was unable to locate a description about how the Client and Debtor fields interact with each other. What I am specifically interested in is whether contact information from the Client field will be used to send invoices to the client if the Debtor field is left blank. It is my experience that the Client information does port over however there have been instances where that does not happen. If my experience is correct, is there any explanations for why the information would not port over in certain circumstances?
We have had a client pay $5,000.00 towards an outstanding invoice, we have barristers fee slips outstanding on this invoice and we paid one fee slip in full and part of another fee slip but there is nowhere that we can record a part payment of an anticipated disbursement. Its either fully paid or not? I have made a note in the ‘memo’ but that could easily be missed and the full fee slip paid at a future date. Any suggestions?
