I can’t figure out how to do it. Seems like a basic functionality that would be incredibly useful, as I currently have to manually check if my assistant has shared a document with me for my review/edits, etc.

@mryan your staff could send you a “phone message” and select notify by email. That creates a task for you and sends an email. The best way to use SB for this is simply for you to monitor your communicate notifications on your desktop app and add the app to your phone with push notifications turned on. Alternatively, or in conjunction with communicates you can use tasks with your staff. They can send you a communicate and add it to a task for you. Then you can make reviewing and using tasks a regular part of your workflow. You can also pin communicates that you have reviewed but have not completed.

Yeah, I realize that if I just monitored my Smokeball Messages or had my staff create Tasks which I then monitored closely, this wouldn’t be an issue. But the reality is in my day-to-day work I’ve found that I simply do not monitor these things closely enough -- likely due to the constant influx of new emails demanding my attention throughout the course of my work day -- which is precisely why I would like to receive an email notification of a new Smokeball Message. Again, seems like a really basic functionality that is missing.
