Welcome to our latest legal content update. In the last month we’ve built you some new matter types and updated layouts, continued to update our forms and precedents, and made some important updates to the Stamp Duty Calculator in QLD. Let’s dive in to the highlights below or read the full release notes here.
Comcare Matter Type
A new “Comcare” matter type is now available in the existing Personal Injury category for all States. This is similar to the State-based Workers Compensation matters. Please let us know if you have any feedback on this new matter type below!
QLD First Home Owner Grant
The QLD First Home Owner Grant in the Stamp Duty Calculator in Conveyancing Purchase and Transfer matter types has been updated. Feel free to refer to this support article for more info and reach out to our Support team if you have any questions.
Select Second Respondent in your Family Matters
Following client feedback, we were excited this month to release changes to several Family Law matter types by giving you the ability to select whether a Client or Other Side is the “Second Respondent.” This is available in your Children, Property, and Children and Property matters. For these matters, you have the option of selecting the other Respondent as “First Respondent” as well. We have updated the FCFCOA forms to accommodate these changes.

Worker’s Compensation (NSW) Update
This month we updated the Workers Compensation matter type in NSW to give you the ability to act for the Employer or Insurer when you open a new matter, not just the Claimant.
