Hello,

I have created a letter/document in a client matter - is there a way to create/turn this into a precedent without saving it to my desktop/hard drive?

Hi @Smokeball Anonymous,

You turn the document (which is saved in the matter) into a precedent from the Smokeball toolbar.

  1. Click the Precedent button in the Smokeball Toolbar, which opens the precedent library.
    •

  2. Click Add a precedent
    •

  3. Choose the Use the currently open document option.
    •

  4. Complete the remaining fields and select Create.
