Why can’t I open an a client’s information to add an email address? I double click on it and I have right-clicked and chose open client - but nothing happens and some little white box shows up in the upper left hand corner -

I suggest you try closing and re-opening smokeball to see if the problem persists. If it does, call smokeball technical support. They can log in to your computer and try to resolve the problem. Generally if they cannot fix it then they will do an uninstall and reinstall for you while you do other things.

in the situation you described, the best thing to do would be to log out of Smokeball, and then log back in.
This will allow it to refresh the data!
