Lead Intake Form Reseting

Reckless_Kelly

We have created Lead Intake forms for use on our website, and we have created one for our internal use for creating new leads from phone calls. The problem is that once the form has been completed, it does not “reset” for future use, or if we partially fill it out without submitting, the filled out fields remain until manually deleted.

Is there a way to create a Lead Intake form that can be reused on the same computer without having to remember to open an Incognito Tab every time?

Hi @Reckless_Kelly ,
We are considering removing the resubmission restriction for any Web Enquiry form. Any form used in the below screen can be submitted multiple times.

We also currently use reCAPTCHA to ensure that no malicious software is used to engage in abusive activities on your website.

Would that work with your workflow and help with the issue you have raised?

Hello @Reckless_Kelly

Can you let me know your workflow for sending/using the intake form internally when taking in calls over the phone?

If you:

  1. Open a lead
  2. Go to the Intake tab
  3. Share a form
  4. Choose to fill out internally
  5. Enter information
  6. Submit

You should not be having issues.  When you say that they are fields remaining do you mean from other leads?  The intake form should only pull information from the lead it is sent from.

Sarah,

We have a modified Web Inquiry form that is used when PCs initially call. instead of using our website form. In these situations, we use a bookmark to this form that opens in a new web page. If the form is completed and submitted by us, then it creates the new Lead from there. This is much smoother than creating a new Lead and filling the form out within the Lead window.

I think Ben’s solution would be better, as then a returning client would be able to fill out the form new a potential new matter.

Ben,

This would be a perfect solution for multiple reasons. We would be able to access a blank form whenever the phone rings AND a previous client could fill out the form again for a new matter, if needed.
