Thank you for your question. I want to clarify if you are wanting to transfer funds to the Statutory Deposit Account?

I am wanting to record the transfer of the funds which occurred.  I have since spoken with a bookkeeper who is all across Smokeball and she has explained how to do it.

If anyone else is interested in the answer it is to create a new client matter “Law Society of South Australia Combined Trust Account -matter no. 999999” - all transactions to and from the combined trust account can be documented to this file.

This is the procedure for South Australia.

I understand some other PM software comes with a matter already set up to do these transactions but for Smokeball you just have to create a new matter.
