Is there a way to apply Trust funds to a current invoice and have the Trust Balance reduced on that particular invoice?

For example, if I issue an invoice and tell it to reduce the amount due by funds held in Trust, it will do that, but in the section on the invoice that shows the Trust balance, the amount is not reduced on the current invoice.  You do not see the new Trust balance until the next invoice.

Sounds like you are selecting “Show less funds held in trust” instead of auto-allocating the payment from trust when finalizing.  The “Show less funds held in trust” shows how the trust will be applied but doesn’t actually takes the funds from trust to allow for the client a period to contest anything on the invoice.  Auto-allocating or allocating when finalizing the invoice will apply the payment from trust immediately, which will reduce the balance in the trust shown on the invoice.
