Hi,

How do I add my precedent to SB please?

Hi,

You can refer to the steps below on how to add precedents.

  • Create or open an existing ‘Test’ matter, then select the Matter tab.
  • Select Precedent from the Matter tab to open the Precedent Library.
  • Navigate to the folder where you would like to add the Precedent to.
  • Select Add a precedent.
  • Select either Create from a blank document to create a precedent from scratch, or select Browse for an existing document to add an existing Word, PDF, or Excel document.
  • Add a name for your precedent.
  • From the Container drop-down menu, select the type of precedent.
  • If applicable, select the Addressee from the drop-down menu.
  • Select Create.
  • Your Precedent will now open in Microsoft Word.
