Legal Content Update for Australia: New Corporate Matter Category, Matter Summary Reports for Everyone and More

New Category: Corporate Matters

After many requests; I'm pleased to announce that we are broadening our scope to cover Corporate matters. We’ll start the new category by launching our new Share Sale matter type as well as moving our existing Shareholder Agreement matter type to the new Corporate category.

Moved to corporate: Shareholder Agreement

The existing ‘Shareholder Agreement’ matter type has been moved from the Commercial Matter Category to the Corporate Matter Category. New or old, you’ll find and create Shareholder Agreement matters under the Corporate Matter Category in your main Smokeball screen.

Personal Injury: Institutional Abuse and Worker’s Compensation

Institutional abuse

We've added an Institutional Abuse matter type for Victoria and South Australia.

Workers compensation

We also added the option to add “Independent Review Office” to your Worker’s Compensation (NSW) matter details. Simply select the option from the settings menu within your Matter (top right-hand corner).


Estate Planning: Advanced Care Directive (SA) Matter Type

An Advanced Care Directive (SA) Matter Type is now available in the Estate Planning area of law.

Form and Precedent Updates

Victorian clients can now choose between Word or PDF for the “Transfer of Land” form.

Property

For Queensland clients, we've added “Qld Titles Credit Card Payment Request” and “eConveyancing Mandate Exemption Request Form”.


Report Updates

The 'Matter-Summary List' report is now available to all clients, providing a comprehensive list of matters.

The Lead - Marketing Report now includes Referral Type and Matter Number columns.
