Prior balance owing not showing on new invoice

My prior balance owing is not showing on the new invoice. How do I show the prior balance?

Hello Kristen,

There are two reasons that may happen.  One, there is a setting on whether or not to show prior balances on the invoice.  Second, if the debtor changes from one invoice to the next, the prior balance will not follow.  Prior balances are connected to the debtor as well as the matter.
