Multiple Prospects in a Lead creates a problem when converting to a Matter

Is anyone else having trouble when you have multiple Prospects in a Lead and them convert to a Matter? If I have Husband and Wife as Prospect 1 and 2, when I convert the Lead to a Matter, then I have Client 1 and 2 as the same person, and a blank space for Client 3. When I add the spouse into the Matter, it them changes Clients 1 and 2 to the spouse and eliminates the other name.
