What is the best practices for the date field in templates? Is it best to use MS Word, date, and have it un-checked for automatic updates? Or use Smokeball Document creation date, or Today - Current Date (for PDF)?
The issue comes if the document was created, and date is populated, and saved. If the document is opened at a later date or printed only to be viewed the date updates to the date of the printing or viewing.
