What do you guys do for civil matters that involve cross claims?  When at times you are filing as petitioner for one pleading but as a respondent for another?

Cross claims can be a bit complicated at the best of times.  You are able to override your client’s role to Petitioner/Cross Respondent so that it shows on the caption at 

 

MY CLIENT,

       Petitioner/Cross Respondent,

vs.

OPPOSING PARTY,

      Respondent/Cross Petitioner. 

 

But if you need it to have the caption look different than the above and switch depending on the pleading, there is no an easy way to accomplish that in automation.
