Is there a way to automate appointments to send reminders to clients the day before their appointment? I see where you can set reminders for your office staff, but is there a way to automate reminders to the actual client for each appointment?

If you add your client to the event it will automatically send them a one day reminder. See this support article on how to Invite clients and third parties to an event via the Client Portal.
