Check out the webinar overview then watch the recording and open a Word doc to practice.

  • Keyboard Shortcuts
    • By using these seven shortcuts, you’ll save time switching between your mouse and keyboard. Plus, working on your laptop will be way more enjoyable.
  • Quick Access Toolbar
    • A customized toolbar that allows you to pin your favorite and most-used features. Always forget where Insert Footnote is? Save it to your toolbar for easy access.
  • Automations
    • Reduce time and errors by saving templates and popular provisions with Quick Parts. You can use this to set up signature blocks, case styles, clauses, and more.
    • Find & Replace is great but doesn’t eliminate human error. Use Smokeball’s Forms and Template Library to create documents in a few clicks and also ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Clipboard
    • When researching, temporarily save up to 24 cut or copied items so you can paste when you’re ready.
  • Paste Options
    • In addition to CTRL + V, there are three other paste options to give you flexibility with formatting.
  • Final Tips
    • Learn a few additional pro-tips—like how to secure documents, remove metadata, and advanced Track Changes options—to become a Microsoft Word Wizard.

Happy drafting!
