Revamped Intake. We received awesome user feedback on Smokeball Intake and implemented those suggestions to help you get the exact client information you need to jumpstart a matter. Updates include:

Duplicate contact checks. When a form is submitted with a potential duplicate contact, you’ll get an alert and have the ability to create a new contact or use a current one.

Intuitive new form builder. Now you can fully customize your forms with our drag & drop builder, which includes conditional logic!

Copy & edit forms. For even faster form creation, you can now duplicate and edit your own template—or one of Smokeball’s standard templates.

Send forms via a Lead. Speed up client onboarding and get additional information by sending a matter intake forms via a Lead.
Folder sharing via the client portal. Keep clients informed by sharing document folders through the client portal. From the matter, just right-click on the folder to share with anyone.
Client’s Preferred Invoice Type. Snail mail, e-mail, no mail—clients prefer to receive their invoices in all different formats. Now you can easily mark a client’s preferred invoice type in Smokeball Billing. Even better? You can manually (and bulk) mark when the bill was sent. No more guessing or awkward tracking.
New Trust Payment field. Now when you’re creating a Trust Payment entry, you’ll see a “Reason” field. Enter details into this text box and then see it surfaced in the accompanying new Trust Transactions report. This enhancement is dedicated to all our California firms.
Personal Injury Projected Settlements Insights Dashboard. PI firms, this one’s just for you! This dashboard gives you a high-level overview of anticipated PI and/or Motor Vehicle Accident settlements so you can make data-driven decisions.
Introducing Smokeball Marketplace. This new platform lets you quickly find integrations that meet your firm’s needs and drive your business goals forward. You can search by specific need or area of law and learn how to connect your Smokeball account.
