What’s new? 

Managing Safe Custody packets and documents in Smokeball is now more secure and compliant. You can now: 

• Edit packet and document details, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. 

• Capture a reason for any changes, with a full change history log. 

• Delete packets and documents with built-in validation to prevent accidental removal. 

• Restore deleted packets and documents, so nothing is lost permanently. 

• Hide or show deleted items, keeping your records organized. 

• Customize packet settings, including visibility of external and firm references. 

Why it matters? 

Previously, Safe Custody records were locked after creation, limiting firms’ ability to maintain accurate records. These updates provide necessary controls while maintaining a full audit trail for compliance. 

2. A streamlined InfoTrack experience in Smokeball

You can now access InfoTrack’s one flow conveyancing directly within the InfoTrack tab in Smokeball. Both the classic and new experiences will be available during the transition.
