Trust Credit Card Save/Payment

I know you can save a client credit card to a contact and you can use this card to pay invoices with add a payment. And you can use this card for a payment plan. But we’re transitioning to evergreen clients. And I can’t find a way to use a saved card in Smokeball to make a deposit to trust. As we increase the number of evergreen clients, it’s becoming an intensive process to manually type in each credit card each time to charge the card.

Hello @KLOBilling

I spoke with our Billing Product manager, and they are aware of this issue.  We are hoping to add this functionality, but there is not a timeline on when it would be available.

We really appreciate your input as it helps us prioritize our development efforts and improve our services to better meet your needs. In the meantime, if you have any other suggestions or questions, please feel free to let us know. We're here to support you and enhance your experience with Smokeball. Thank you for being part of our community!

Hi, @Sara Sultan, has then been created yet?

and/or if it is a different question: What I’m trying to do is replenish the funds the client holds in trust back to the evergreen amount of $2k, but as he still has $400 in trust, I don’t know a way I can use the credit card currently stored in Smokeball to pay this to the correct amount. Because the “invoice” has nothing still owed on it, it is not letting me.

thanks.

Hi @Matt-Mperkins

The only thing you can do at the moment is to send an Evergreen replenishment request and have the client put in their credit card information again.  There is not currently an option to use a saved card for payment into Trust.  The Billing Product team is aware of this request.
