I would like to know how to if there was a way to be able to set an alert on the WIDGET which displays an alert that we are close to the agreed amount from the disclosure statement.

From what I can see only conveyancing matters has similar allows similar settings. Would family law have a similar setting?

Thank you

Hi @iHaywood,

Thank you for your patience.

At this stage, there is no option to set an alert within the matter widget that you are close to the agreed amount. I can see how having this information visible at a glance would be beneficial for quick matter-level billing insights.
I’ve submitted this as a feature request to our product team for future consideration.

In the meantime, here are a few options to help manage financial thresholds and avoid exceeding the disclosure statement amount:

  1. Fee Estimates: You can set a fee estimate on a matter to monitor your budget and ensure you don’t exceed the financial limits. This will help you keep track of potential costs more accurately.
  2. Notifications: Enabling client portal notifications can alert you when a matter approaches its estimated total billable fees, keeping you on track.

You can refer to our Set a fee estimate on a matter - Support Hub article for the step-by-step instructions.
