I have a WC case that has been going on for years that we get regular attorney fees for. I was told before to put them under transactions tab. At one point can I apply all those fees? Do I need to run out a bill and apply them or do they just sit there until we settle the case?

If the funds you receive go immediately into your firms operating account, you definitely want to make an invoice to accept those payments and show income in Smokeball for reporting.
