We often have expense entries that need to be supported by a receipt or invoice. We’ve seen that in the Smokeball web browser option, there’s an “attach file” option. However, we can’t find a similar option when entering expenses in Smokeball on our desktop application.
Is there a way to attach files (receipts, invoices, etc.) to expenses in the desktop Smokeball app?

The ability to attach receipts/files to an expense only lives in Smokeball web app (app.smokeball.com) at this time, as that is where all billing is done. If you’d like to submit a Feature Request to allow receipts to be attached to Expenses in desktop.
If you'd like to submit a Feature Suggestion, you can click on the "Contact Us" button under the Support tab in Smokeball or on the support page and choose Feature Suggestion as the ticket type. Make sure to not only say what the suggested feature is, but how it will help solve a problem with your current process. The more details, the better.

I’ve requested this. You can attach the receipt to the expense, but I’m told it doesn’t actually do anything. I’ve asked them to make it so it prints automatically (or sends) when we send invoices. TimeSolv does this and it was INCREDIBLY nice!
