Florida Probate Workflow

Does anyone have a workflow they’ve found successful for Florida probates that they wouldn’t mind sharing? Alternatively, sharing some pointers?

@VRose I know you don’t do probate in Florida, but do you have a CA one you are willing to share?  The key dates (30,60, days from) are a bit different, but most probate is fairly similar across the U.S.

I do not have a workflow for probate as of yet. I do not do enough of them. I use the below DOCX checklist for my IL probate cases. Smokeball already has some of these items in “Case Details”. This probably doesn’t help you @MRiveaEsq

This is what I have (so far) for California probates.  (btw, it is a work in progress and we change/improve it little by little as we go).

 

STAGE SET: PROBATE
 

I started small just with

1.0 Appointment (as in getting Letters)

2.0 Adminstration

3.0 Closing

and then I added sub phases little by little.

 

 

 

 

We are then trying to build workflows “connected” to each stage of the set (we don’t have all of them yet).
