Is there a way to change the default Billing Type when opening a new matter? Right now our default is fixed and I would like to change it to Time Based.

Thanks for posting in the Community! Yes, you sure can! You will want to access your SB Settings. File Tab in the upper left corner, then select SB Settings. Navigate to the Matter Configuration tab. Open the matter type that you need to change the billing type for. Go to the Time & Billing tab to change the billing type. This will affect matters moving forward, and will not change billing types for existing matters.
