I know I can creat an envelope in Matters (using our template) but is there a way you can create a template to use in contacts for those who doesn’t have a matter number?

Hello Kim!
You can use Smokeball to create envelopes for any contact in Smokeball by creating an Envelope Document Container. There is an option to Create Letter on any contact that will then let you choose your new Envelope option. Feel free to reach out to a trainer for a Q & A to help set this up for your firm.
