"Assigning" email

Good evening,

Sometimes at the end of the day or week, I check my email box and make sure emails are properly assigned to a matter.  There may be several emails in my box that need to be assigned, or outgoing mails sent in a hurry or from my phone will also need to be assigned.  So I will tkae a few minutes at the end of the day to assign emails.  I am not reading them, I am only right clicking on the emails in outlook so I can assign them.  It seems like this creates a billable event and I do not want that.  I would consider this matter management and not bill for it.

Does anyone else have the same concern?

ii feel your pain. i think you can make matter admin NON-nbillable. but with auto time it still records it. its so clunky.  its almost archaic.

you cant seem to bulk deal with a LOT of things on smokeball and it does my head in. I cant delete a heap of auto billed entries, you have to do them one by one. I dont know what programmers they had build the billing end, but it’s beyond frustrating, Who has time to delete 100 auto fees individually. and no, i dont want to create an invoice to get rid of them. madness!
