Applying workflow to a lead

I can’t apply a workflow to a lead. When I click the apply workflow button, there are no workflows available, but I have created and saved a workflow which should appear there (I think).

I can see the workflow if I click the same button in a matter though.

Help!

It is important when you create the workflow that you attach it not just to a matter type, but a lead type as well.

Thanks for reaching out!

When you’re creating your workflow you will want to make sure that you also choose to make it accessible by the Lead version of that matter type.

You likely know that one of the things you can choose when creating your Workflow is what types of Matters can use that workflow using the below option:

 

When you click on that the below window will pop up. You just want to select the lead folder and choose the types of leads you want to have access to this workflow as well.
