Welcome to the September 2025 Legal Content Update! This month, we rolled out a series of impactful updates, including new matter types, matter type improvements, and form updates. Let's delve into the highlights:
Improvements for Western Australia
Conveyancing
The updated rates for WA's First Home Owner Rate of Duty and the Off-the-Plan Duty Concession, applying to transactions entered into on or after 21 March 2025, are now live in our WA Transfer Duty Calculator.
We now have a new Override Amount field next to the Duty Payable field, allowing for scenarios outside standard property transactions where transfer duty is calculated differently.
