This has been a busy month for the Legal Product Team! We released a range of improvements to the Personal Injury matter types for WA, added a new Cost Assessment matter type, updated a raft of forms and precedents, as well as made a number of exciting changes to existing reports.

We have now released the Cost Assessment matter type which is available for QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, NT, SA & WA.

Criminal Injuries Compensation Matter Type (WA)

This month we also released a number of updates in the Personal Injury space in Western Australia. These updates included:

Family Law Matter Types - Child Details

Following client feedback we also added the following new fields to ‘Child Details’ in your Family law matters. These fields included:

  • ICL met with child? Yes/No
  • Meeting Date/ Exemption Reason (as applicable)
  • Notes

Forms Updates

This month saw a myriad of updates and additional forms added, including across the following suites:

  • Lexon Insurance > Wills & EPOA suite (QLD)
  • ATO Forms (Federal)
  • Probate Forms (SA)
  • Department of Home Affairs (Federal)
  • Leasing Forms (QLD)

 

Reports Updates 

This month has also been packed with exciting report updates! Here’s what’s new:

Conveyancing - Settlements Report

  • Matter Numbers Linked to Smokeball

  • New "Included Columns" Filter

  • New Default Setting Functionality

Additionally, the 'Matter - Full List' desktop report has also been updated to include the new Default Setting Functionality. The new default setting functionality allows users to set firm-wide defaults that Smokeball will remember. This means users can simply open the report and run it without needing to select the same filter options each time, saving them valuable time.
