Welcome to the April Australian Legal Content Update! This month we released two new Matter Types for Vic, as well as a number of Precedent Library updates and Report enhancements.
Let’s dive in to the highlights below.
New “Property General” Matter Type
This month we released the following for VIC:
- New “Property” Matter Category and Lead Category;
- New Property General matter type: and
- New Property Lead type.
New Agency - Child Protection Matter Type
We also released a new Matter Type under the VIC Child Protection category called Agency - Child Protection following client feedback. New Support Hub Articles for this area of law are also available, and you can click here for more info.
Form Updates
This month we made a number of updates to forms in the Precedent Library, including the following:
- RevenueWA Forms, including Application for First Home Owner Rate of Duty Form, and Application for the First Home Owner Grant and or Pre-approval for the First home owner rate of duty;
- FCFCOA Forms, including updates to the Response to Initiating Application, Affidavit, Notice of Address for Service and Undertaking forms;
- Department of Home Affairs Forms;
- Children’s Court of VIC Forms;
- Magistrates’ Court of VIC Forms.
- Marketplace Precedents: Lexon Insurance (QLD) updates to Estate Administration, Wills and EPOA and FPA Suites.
Report Updates
In exciting news, the new AML Report has now been added to Smokeball Desktop Reports.
The report includes existing VOI (Verification of Identity) fields and newly added AML fields, providing clearer compliance data and better visibility of contact related AML information.
Enhancements have also been made to the existing “Conveyancing Critical Dates Report QLD” in Smokeball Desktop Reports.
The report now includes the following additional date fields:
- Cooling Off Expiry Date
- Auction Date
- Unconditional Date
These fields are also available in the Included Columns filter, making it easier to customise the report.
